The initial inspiration for my final collection comes from the hobbies of two people. My granddad, who for as long as he can remember has kept racing pigeons, and myself, who as a young girl loved to dance. Essentially both activities are sports and so lend themselves to the idea of athleticism and fitness, and yet equally important to each is a beauty of movement.

Being informed by both dance apparel and the work-wear aesthetic of my Granddads loft coat, my collection looks to develop the idea of Smart Sportswear. This is executed through combining luxury eveningwear fabrics with a more uniform silhouette. Paneled and pocketed pieces feature alongside floor length draped designs, creating an aesthetic relevant as alternative eveningwear.
